Two hour training session learning the basics of pistol shooting & range safety. One hour of classroom instruction and one hour of live fire on the range. The student will learn loading & unloading, fundamentals of marksmanship and range etiquette.

Course completed in a single day. Topics include: NRA's rules for safe gun handling, shotgun parts and operation, shotgun shell malfunctions, shooting fundamentals, range rules, shooting at straight away and angled targets, cleaning; and continued opportunities for skill development. Student will take a Basics of Shotgun Shooting Student Examination.
