Texas License to Carry (LTC) Course
- Format

Designed to educate individuals on firearm laws, safety, and responsible carrying of a handgun in public. Includes state-mandated curriculum on firearm laws, safety, non-violent conflict resolution, and a 50-round shooting proficiency test at 3, 7, and 15 yards. Eligible for individuals 18+ (21 for some applicants; military exceptions apply).

Comprehensive introduction to safe gun handling, covering NRA's three fundamental safety rules, pistol parts and operation, ammunition knowledge, fundamentals of marksmanship, shooting positions, range rules, live-fire practice, and cleaning/maintenance. Includes legal and ethical aspects.

NRA CCW (Concealed Carry Weapon) Course

Comprehensive training for responsible concealed carry, covering firearm safety, holster selection, defensive shooting techniques, situational awareness, legal aspects of self-defense and state regulations, and live-fire training with qualification. Includes optional modules on low-light shooting and emergency first aid.

Covers recognizing emergencies, scene safety, CPR for adults/children/infants, AED operation and pad placement, choking response (Heimlich), team-based CPR, hands-only CPR, recovery position, and post-resuscitation care. Taught by American Heart Association certified instructors.
