Combines 8 hours of self-paced online training with a 1-day in-person hands-on skill session. Teaches emergency response in remote settings, including injury assessment, environmental hazards, and evacuation decisions. Meets requirements for Boy Scouts/Scouting USA’s high-adventure bases including Philmont, NICA, and the National Park Service.
Hands-on training in hemorrhage control using tourniquets, wound packing, and direct pressure. Designed for civilians to respond effectively in trauma emergencies before EMS arrives. Includes practice on manikins and optional self-application.
Comprehensive instruction on safe firearm handling, legal rights and responsibilities, defensive use of force, and Oregon/Utah CHL requirements. Includes live-fire range components and Q&A with experienced instructor.
