Gary was born and raised in Del Rio, Texas, where he has spent 49 years and counting as the local gunsmith at Humphreys’ Gun Shop. Lifetime member of the NRA and Texas-certified License to Carry Instructor. Project Leader of the Val Verde 4-H Shooting Sports, with five state second places and two State Championship titles.

Pistol Rifle Pistol Rifle NRA Certified Pistol Instructor 4 H Certified Rifle Coach Won Gold In The U.S. Jr. Olympic State Championship (2009), Silver At USA Nationals (2009), And 1st Place In State 4 H Roundup (2007). Won Clifton Lowry Best All Around Shooter Award In 2004 And 2006.
Holly is also proving to be a leader in the business. She competes nationally in both 50m small bore and 10m air rifle, and still holds the county record (as of 2023) with a score of 561. Lifetime member of the NRA, NRA Certified Pistol Instructor, and 4-H Certified Rifle Coach.
