| NC Concealed Carry Certification classThe FAQ describes the NC concealed carry class: it is required by NC law to complete an 8 hour concealed carry class, with a minimum of 2 hours of NC CCW laws, plus qualify with a firearm.Who it’s for: New and experienced firearm ownersIncluded and extra costs: NO firearms are allowed for the in-class portion of class. They are to be left, in a safe manner in your locked vehicle until your instructor tells you otherwise.; We offer rental packages you can use to qualify for your permit. The rental package includes everything you need.; You must use a handgun, we suggest a semi-automatic.; You will need a firearm, 50 rounds of new ammunition (NO re-loads), eye and ear protection, but you can use our rental package if you do not have these. Glasses or contacts, if needed.Provider’s credential claim: Once you complete the 8 hour class, written exam, and have qualified at the range, you get your certificate. Do not carry a concealed firearm until after you have made your appointment with the sheriff's office and received your permit from the sheriff.
