Group shooting printable target
One bullseye with rings 1 to 7 inches across to measure your group, and a guide on page 2.
How to print
Choose color or low-ink grayscale. The low-ink edition removes decorative fills while keeping the aiming marks and scoring boundaries clear.
- Print on US Letter at 100% (Actual size), not Fit to page. Fit to page shrinks the target, so its rings and boxes no longer match the course.
- Check the 2-inch bar with a ruler before you shoot.
- Each sheet stays inside a home printer’s half-inch margins.
The course
5 slow shots, with no timer, aiming at the fine black point in the red center dot: start at 3 to 5 yards, then 10, then 25.
Mark each group before you move back, or hang a fresh page.
How to score it
The group’s size is the smallest ring all five holes fit inside. The rings are numbered by width, 1 to 7 inches, each ½ inch outside the last, and each distance has a box for its group.
Page 2 shows how to shoot it, what a wide group usually means, and where it landed for right-handed shooters. For left-handed shooters it flips.
